Fred has been a Board Member of the Morris Animal Refuge, Freddie Mac's LP advisor committee and a Board Member of the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS. Currently, he serves on the Boards of the National Association of Independent Housing Professionals, the UpFront Mortgage Brokers Association along with Hidden City Philadelphia and Culture Works.
Fred is the recipient of a grant from the prestigious Weiss Tech House at the Engineering school at the University of Pennsylvania for his co-development of the J-Shield.
Additionally, Fred is a co-founder of Rentscoper, a mathematically formalized online apartment finder and is involved with two other internet startups.
For many years, Fred has been an All-Star ice hockey goaltender with the Wharton Wildmen at the University of Pennsylvania.
